This class is for anyone interested in becoming a newly licensed Amateur Radio Operator (ie, a "ham").

Class will include live radio conversations and recorded contacts with space station astronauts, relays through satellites and repeaters, international contacts bounced off the ionosphere, and much more.

Subjects covered by the license exam include federal regulations, what you can and can't do over the radio, and just enough basic electronics to help you select and connect your own ham radio station.

The primary instructor, George Lillenstein, AB1GL, will be introducing all-new demonstrations and teaching techniques for "electrifying" classes you won't want to miss!

The NARL club will also be offering the more advanced "General" and "Extra" license classes later this year.
